March 7th, 2016, TAMPA, FL – Big Storm Brewing Co’s collection of accolades and awards grew again at the annual Best Florida Beer Championships. The annual competition’s expert judges awarded Big Storm Brewing Co. Best of Show and a Gold medal for Oktoberfest (a Bavarian Style Märzen Lager). A silver medal was also awarded to Big Storm for the Belgian Single and a bronze medal for Helicity Pilsner in the Professional Category. The competition pits the best brewers in Florida against each other.

These accolades come just on the cusp of Big Storm’s expansion into Pinellas County. The ribbon was cut at a grand opening celebration of a new 16,000 square foot brewery and taproom in Clearwater, Florida on February 20th.
