DUNEDIN, FL – MARCH 31, 2017 The 51st Annual Dunedin Highland Games & Festival is a day of competitions in solo piping & drumming, pipe band competitions, highland dancing, athletics, and more. A 5K run through Hammock Park with entrants dressed in kilts! A full day of music with Celtic Conundrum, MacGilliossa, Seven Nations and Off Kilter. Many vendors selling foods and merchandise – shop for that kilt, celtic wares and jewelry!

It wouldn’t be the Highland Games without some ICE COLD BEER. Local brewery, Big Storm Brewing Co has been selected to brew “Edgewater Ale” specifically for this event. “For several years now, the Highland Games has approached our family owned brewery and given us the great honor of brewing a custom Scottish Ale for this event.” stated Mike Bishop, Founder of Big Storm. “When Big Storm was a fledgling brewery in 2012, this was one of the first events we participated in. We are very proud to help promote and carry on this tradition.” he continued.

Over 30 Scottish Clans and Societies will be there to help you discover your family heritage. Sheep herding demonstrations with Scottish border collies. A Kids Zone with games for the youngsters.
